I was born in Athens, Texas, on August 13, 1983, and was raised in a family that, while well-intentioned, faced significant financial challenges. Like many families, my parents separated when I was approximately nine years old, leaving my mother to raise us on her own with very little help. Despite these hardships, she persevered.
I graduated from Athens High School in 2002, all while navigating the responsibilities of single fatherhood to a son with both cardiac and psychological health issues. Balancing the demands of school, parenthood at seventeen, and multiple jobs was exceptionally challenging, particularly as I frequently managed hospital visits for my disabled child.
Through these experiences, I gained a wealth of knowledge and resilience. In 2021, I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Psychology from North Central Texas College. My involvement in community activism began in 2020, during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I have remained steadfast in advocating for what I view as our Constitutional and God-given rights. I have witnessed corruption both personally and professionally.
I believe it is time to Restore, Unify, and Improve our community, addressing one issue at a time.
